Mollie Lund

Hi! My name is Mollie Lund. I was born and raised in Sweet Home Alabama, but have called Texas home for the past 10 years. When I was 13 years old, I went on my first mission trip. During this week of serving, the Lord revealed to me my own sin & need of Jesus to save me. Coming to faith in Christ on a mission trip has imprinted on my heart a lasting joy & inclination towards missions that I never imagined would land me in vocational ministry!

But, in God's grace, I have had the joy of serving in ministry since I finished undergrad at Samford University in 2013. Immediately after graduating undergrad, I moved to Brighton, England through Greater Europe Mission to serve with a local church there for a year. Then, the Lord led me to work in student ministry at a church in north Dallas for 5.5. years. During this time, the Lord impressed upon me the calling to further education and equipping which led me to begin working on a masters in cross-cultural ministry at Dallas Theological Seminary.

I was introduced to my husband, Trygve, in summer of 2018 during this season of student ministry & seminary. We got married the following Fall of 2019 and I moved down to Beaumont to join him here. We felt led to join Beaumont's FBC and I met Dr. Moody a few weeks later & shared with him that I was finishing up seminary at DTS. He was so excited to meet a fellow DTS student! By God's grace, there was a residency position open at the church and they invited me to prayerfully consider it. I said "yes!".

After graduating from seminary in August 2021, I have served as part-time Missions Minister at Beaumont's FBC and part-time with a ministry to international students at Lamar called International Students, Inc. I love watching how the Lord is working in our faith family to reach the nations near and far!

As missions minister at Beaumont's FBC, my hope and prayer is that the Lord will stir each heart within our faith family to join Him in His rescue mission of being a disciple who makes disciples here and to the ends of the earth!
