Hi, I am John Allen! I have the privilege of serving as the Associate College Minister here at Beaumont’s First Baptist Church. I desire to see college students know Christ more deeply, grow in their love for Scripture, and faithfully follow Him in every season of life. I believe some of the most meaningful ministry happens through intentional relationships and walking alongside people as they grow in their faith. Whether I am teaching, meeting with students over coffee, or serving alongside others, my prayer is that Christ would be exalted above everything else.
I am currently pursuing my BA-MDiv biblical studies through Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. When I am not working or doing school, though, I love watching the Dallas Mavericks, or really anything basketball-related, playing guitar, watching TV, and spending time with my fiancé, Aubri.
